In the morning the wind was around 2 knots from north east. At noon some gusts came and a handful of sailors went out for some minutes and than had to swim home or where picked up by boat when the wind disappeared again. Dirk Jan seemed to have a few good runs though, before his swim back to the shore. As the event manager I decided to closes the course for today, since the rolling waves did the water very messy. The important thing with this event is to have fun, not to swim nor take unnecessary risks.
